History

The Byker Mummers were formed in late 2002 to go mumming in the Ouseburn Valley, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The team consisted of five mummers named James, Graeme, Clive, Norm and Matthew.

Plays were successfully performed at the following Ouseburn Valley pubs (see map for route), on the evening of Saturday December 14:
The Free Trade, The Tyne, The Egypt Cottage, The Cluny, The Ship, The Tanners and The Cumberland Arms.

The Byker Mummers will be out again.
